Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media, Telecoms and Materials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.55%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DnB ASA (OL:DNB), which rose 0.35% or 0.6 points to trade at 156.1 at the close. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) added 0.30% or 0.11 points to end at 36.55 and Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS) was up 0.28% or 0.4 points to 145.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC), which lost 2.65% or 0.19 points to trade at 6.79 in late trade. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 2.61% or 0.66 points to end at 23.31 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) shed 2.40% or 1.65 points to 67.15.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 112 to 65 and 28 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.49% or 0.30 to $61.26 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.35% or 0.23 to hit $65.12 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.66% or 8.80 to trade at $1316.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.78% to 9.4864, while USD/NOK fell 0.36% to 7.7029.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 90.07.
