Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Auto & components, Capital Goods and Technology Hardware & Equipment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which rose 2.13% or 0.38 points to trade at 18.20 at the close. Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) added 0.90% or 0.6 points to end at 67.5 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) was up 0.86% or 0.13 points to 15.22 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which lost 2.86% or 1.60 points to trade at 54.40 in late trade. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) declined 1.83% or 3.15 points to end at 168.60 and Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) shed 1.51% or 1.60 points to 104.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 112 to 69 and 21 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.64% or 0.33 to $51.26 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.93% or 0.56 to hit $59.92 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.55 to trade at $1291.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.08% to 9.7957, while USD/NOK rose 0.01% to 8.5353.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 95.170.
