Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Auto & components and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which rose 4.01% or 1.69 points to trade at 43.79 at the close. Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) added 2.04% or 1.01 points to end at 50.50 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was up 1.97% or 2.5 points to 129.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which lost 5.14% or 1.27 points to trade at 23.45 in late trade. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) declined 4.27% or 0.05 points to end at 1.19 and Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) shed 2.84% or 0.3 points to 10.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 93 to 79 and 31 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.79% or 1.48 to $51.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.63% or 1.47 to hit $54.45 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.55% or 6.65 to trade at $1209.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.58% to 8.9833, while USD/NOK rose 0.76% to 8.5176.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 102.10.
