Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Insurance, Diversified Financials and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 5.70% or 0.04 points to trade at 0.68 at the close. Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) added 1.10% or 3.4 points to end at 311.3 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) was up 1.06% or 2.10 points to 201.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which lost 2.62% or 1.60 points to trade at 59.45 in late trade. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 2.61% or 1.16 points to end at 43.25 and Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS) shed 2.19% or 3.0 points to 134.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 100 to 73 and 31 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.14% or 0.07 to $51.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.30% or 0.18 to hit $59.73 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 3.70 to trade at $1226.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.05% to 9.7279, while USD/NOK rose 0.68% to 8.5920.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 97.083.
