Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Materials, Auto & components and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 3.62% or 7.9 points to trade at 225.9 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) added 3.00% or 1.43 points to end at 49.15 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) was up 2.97% or 7.4 points to 256.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY), which lost 3.06% or 1.86 points to trade at 59.86 in late trade. Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC) declined 1.91% or 0.13 points to end at 6.41 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) shed 1.38% or 1.00 points to 71.55.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 99 to 90 and 24 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.37% or 0.87 to $64.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.20% or 0.83 to hit $69.86 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 5.00 to trade at $1336.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.05% to 9.6318, while USD/NOK fell 0.12% to 7.8427.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 90.03.
