Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Auto & components, Diversified Financials and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 4.12% or 0.05 points to trade at 1.29 at the close. Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) added 0.92% or 0.45 points to end at 49.18 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was up 0.84% or 2.7 points to 323.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which lost 22.49% or 3.1 points to trade at 10.8 in late trade. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 3.74% or 0.92 points to end at 23.70 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) shed 2.71% or 4.00 points to 143.60.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 117 to 65 and 20 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.39% or 0.21 to $53.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.09% or 0.05 to hit $55.85 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 0.85 to trade at $1227.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.44% to 8.9873, while USD/NOK rose 0.77% to 8.4892.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 101.63.
