Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Food, Beverages & Tobacco sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 2.98% or 6.4 points to trade at 221.0 at the close. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) added 2.38% or 0.25 points to end at 10.75 and BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) was up 2.32% or 0.84 points to 37.09 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which lost 4.11% or 3.00 points to trade at 70.00 in late trade. Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) declined 2.19% or 3.05 points to end at 136.05 and Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC) shed 1.77% or 0.11 points to 6.11.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 105 to 71 and 25 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.56% or 0.99 to $64.56 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.79% or 0.55 to hit $69.75 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 3.50 to trade at $1322.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.01% to 9.6482, while USD/NOK fell 0.70% to 8.0166.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 91.64.
