Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Auto & components, Diversified Financials and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 1.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 6.94% or 12.0 points to trade at 185.0 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) added 4.57% or 2.90 points to end at 66.35 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was up 2.66% or 8.4 points to 323.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which lost 3.34% or 0.54 points to trade at 15.61 in late trade. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 1.53% or 0.57 points to end at 36.77 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) 0.00% or 0.00 points to 50.80.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 102 to 73 and 23 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.07% or 0.52 to $48.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.27% or 0.66 to hit $51.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 4.12 to trade at $1289.88 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.27% to 9.3552, while USD/NOK rose 0.07% to 7.9417.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 93.30.
