Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Energy, Software & Computer Services and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.65% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which rose 5.62% or 4.95 points to trade at 93.00 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 3.73% or 1.42 points to end at 39.52 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was up 3.01% or 3.5 points to 121.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which lost 2.92% or 8.20 points to trade at 280.00 in late trade. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 2.58% or 1.80 points to end at 69.56 and BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) shed 2.48% or 0.77 points to 30.22.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 99 to 87 and 20 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.42% or 0.30 to $70.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.55% or 0.43 to hit $78.66 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.90% or 25.10 to trade at $1293.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.20% to 9.6025, while USD/NOK rose 0.80% to 8.0970.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.52% at 93.03.
