Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Auto & components, Telecoms and Banking sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.61% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 5.96% or 0.06 points to trade at 1.14 at the close. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) added 2.25% or 0.27 points to end at 12.29 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 1.64% or 0.8 points to 52.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which lost 3.33% or 2.50 points to trade at 72.60 in late trade. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) declined 1.44% or 2.10 points to end at 143.80 and Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) shed 0.95% or 0.75 points to 78.45.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 103 to 74 and 25 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.56% or 0.27 to $48.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.91% or 0.49 to hit $54.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 3.84 to trade at $1331.86 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.01% to 9.3720, while USD/NOK fell 0.16% to 7.8294.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 91.84.
