Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Energy sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.57%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 31.99% or 0.21 points to trade at 0.85 at the close. P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) added 2.54% or 12.40 points to end at 500.00 and Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR) was up 1.89% or 4.0 points to 215.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which lost 1.95% or 0.49 points to trade at 24.60 in late trade. Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) declined 1.59% or 2.00 points to end at 123.60 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) shed 1.41% or 5.3 points to 369.9.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 94 to 87 and 24 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.36% or 0.23 to $63.37 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.54% or 0.39 to hit $73.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1230.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.06% to 9.5234, while USD/NOK fell 0.09% to 8.3604.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 96.25.
