Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Diversified Financials and Auto & components sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 5.74% or 0.43 points to trade at 7.92 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 4.30% or 1.02 points to end at 24.72 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) was up 3.48% or 5.00 points to 148.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which lost 3.88% or 0.05 points to trade at 1.24 in late trade. Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) declined 2.50% or 0.3 points to end at 10.6 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) shed 2.27% or 4.80 points to 206.70.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 90 to 85 and 27 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.24% or 0.13 to $53.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.12% or 0.07 to hit $56.08 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 7.25 to trade at $1218.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.53% to 8.9410, while USD/NOK fell 0.53% to 8.4495.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 101.70.
