Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Commercial Service And Supplies, Food, Beverages & Tobacco and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC), which rose 4.35% or 0.26 points to trade at 6.24 at the close. Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) added 2.55% or 1.2 points to end at 49.0 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was up 2.39% or 7.00 points to 299.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Yara International ASA (OL:YAR), which lost 1.47% or 5.1 points to trade at 341.7 in late trade. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 1.43% or 0.37 points to end at 25.50 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) shed 1.06% or 1.2 points to 116.2.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 112 to 60 and 26 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.28% or 0.78 to $60.37 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.92% or 0.59 to hit $63.75 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 6.00 to trade at $1321.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.26% to 9.6595, while USD/NOK rose 0.50% to 7.8423.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.59% at 90.09.
