Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Transport, Auto & components and Media sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.22% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which rose 8.39% or 6.10 points to trade at 78.80 at the close. P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) added 2.96% or 10.50 points to end at 364.80 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) was up 2.80% or 7.0 points to 257.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which lost 8.02% or 17.0 points to trade at 195.0 in late trade. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 1.54% or 0.72 points to end at 46.08 and TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) shed 1.25% or 2.5 points to 197.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 95 to 86 and 31 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.31% or 0.18 to $57.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.06% or 0.04 to hit $63.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.84% or 10.76 to trade at $1286.56 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.08% to 9.4684, while USD/NOK fell 0.15% to 8.1661.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 94.74.
