Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Energy and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 8.69% or 15.3 points to trade at 191.3 at the close. Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC) added 1.92% or 0.12 points to end at 6.09 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was up 1.28% or 0.85 points to 67.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG), which lost 4.50% or 2.0 points to trade at 42.0 in late trade. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) declined 2.43% or 6.00 points to end at 240.80 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) shed 2.04% or 7.10 points to 340.60.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 92 to 90 and 20 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.25% or 0.15 to $60.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.63% or 0.42 to hit $66.45 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 3.80 to trade at $1313.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.39% to 9.8053, while USD/NOK fell 0.74% to 8.1385.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 91.59.
