Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Auto & components and Food, Beverages & Tobacco sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC), which rose 6.00% or 0.32 points to trade at 5.65 at the close. Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) added 4.39% or 3.10 points to end at 73.70 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was up 3.45% or 8.00 points to 240.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which lost 4.87% or 1.09 points to trade at 21.30 in late trade. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) declined 4.64% or 1.61 points to end at 33.07 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) shed 3.34% or 0.31 points to 9.03.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 100 to 81 and 23 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.40% or 0.24 to $59.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.19% or 0.12 to hit $62.47 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 4.20 to trade at $1330.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.14% to 9.7420, while USD/NOK fell 0.38% to 7.8827.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 89.55.
