Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Auto & components, Materials and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 5.74% or 0.07 points to trade at 1.23 at the close. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) added 1.60% or 0.15 points to end at 9.19 and BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) was up 1.59% or 0.58 points to 36.98 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which lost 2.25% or 5.50 points to trade at 238.50 in late trade. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 1.81% or 0.84 points to end at 45.61 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) shed 1.73% or 0.8 points to 42.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 90 to 89 and 30 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.47% or 0.27 to $57.49 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.28% or 0.18 to hit $63.59 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.12% or 1.50 to trade at $1264.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.51% to 9.9004, while USD/NOK rose 0.17% to 8.3742.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 93.20.
