Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Telecoms and Consumer Durables And Apparel sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.04% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Telenor ASA (OL:TEL), which rose 1.94% or 3.2 points to trade at 168.4 at the close. Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) added 1.62% or 1.30 points to end at 81.70 and Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) was up 1.59% or 1.25 points to 80.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which lost 3.68% or 0.72 points to trade at 18.83 in late trade. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) declined 3.36% or 0.38 points to end at 10.93 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) shed 2.41% or 1.55 points to 62.75.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 87 to 86 and 30 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.17% or 0.09 to $51.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.58% or 0.33 to hit $56.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.35 to trade at $1287.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.56% to 9.4098, while USD/NOK rose 0.36% to 7.9674.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 92.99.
