Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Monday, as in the sectors propelled shares .

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Micro Data SA (CS:MIC), which rose 9.78% or 11.20 points to trade at 125.70 at the close. Holcim Maroc SA (CS:HOL) added 8.38% or 189 points to end at 2444 and Realis. Mecaniques (CS:SRM) was up 4.17% or 10.00 points to 250.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Eqdom (CS:EQDM), which lost 5.03% or 54 points to trade at 1020 in late trade. Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA) declined 4.68% or 1.08 points to end at 22.02 and Stroc Industrie (CS:STR) shed 4.61% or 2.30 points to 47.60.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 21 to 12 and 4 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 3.06% or 1.28 to $43.08 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.58% or 1.14 to hit $45.41 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.20% or 2.65 to trade at $1341.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.03% to 10.8720, while USD/MAD rose 0.06% to 9.8163.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 96.37.
