Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Friday, as in the sectors propelled shares .

The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Lydec (CS:LYD), which rose 9.09% or 45.00 points to trade at 540.00 at the close. SMI (CS:SMI) added 5.96% or 158 points to end at 2808 and Dari Couspate SA (CS:DRI) was up 5.95% or 99 points to 1762 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sonasid (CS:SOND), which lost 9.90% or 36 points to trade at 324 in late trade. Micro Data SA (CS:MIC) declined 9.63% or 12.20 points to end at 114.50 and Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA) shed 7.53% or 1.88 points to 23.10.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 25 to 23 and 3 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.24% or 0.52 to $41.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.11% or 0.49 to hit $43.80 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.59% or 21.75 to trade at $1345.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.08% to 10.8750, while USD/MAD rose 0.43% to 9.8126.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.44% at 96.17.
