Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as in the sectors propelled shares .
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares unchanged 0.00%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Miniere Touissit (CS:CMT), which rose 8.62% or 92 points to trade at 1159 at the close. Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM) added 5.97% or 9.55 points to end at 169.45 and Promopharm S.A. (CS:PRO) was up 1.61% or 19 points to 1200 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sonasid (CS:SOND), which lost 9.99% or 40 points to trade at 360 in late trade. Holcim Maroc SA (CS:HOL) declined 8.16% or 200 points to end at 2250 and IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC) shed 5.99% or 6.32 points to 99.13.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 25 to 11 and 10 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.60% or 1.06 to $41.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.44% or 1.05 to hit $44.15 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.29% or 3.95 to trade at $1368.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.05% to 10.8860, while USD/MAD rose 0.06% to 9.7734.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 95.67.
