Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Distributors, Software & Computer Services and Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR), which rose 9.99% or 8.19 points to trade at 90.19 at the close. Sonasid (CS:SOND) added 9.04% or 45 points to end at 540 and Snep (CS:SNP) was up 7.09% or 37.50 points to 566.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Micro Data SA (CS:MIC), which lost 7.24% or 19.90 points to trade at 255.10 in late trade. SMI (CS:SMI) declined 5.97% or 106 points to end at 1670 and Colorado (CS:COL) shed 3.90% or 3.00 points to 74.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 22 to 16 and 3 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.52% or 0.36 to $68.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.37% or 0.29 to hit $77.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 5.60 to trade at $1206.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.22% to 10.9710, while USD/MAD fell 0.34% to 9.3867.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 94.02.
