Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Pharmaceutical Industry and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR), which rose 6.70% or 6.33 points to trade at 100.75 at the close. Douja Prom Addoha (CS:ADH) added 1.99% or 0.36 points to end at 18.49 and Jet Contractors (CS:JET) was up 1.96% or 6.70 points to 348.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Stroc Industrie (CS:STR), which lost 7.77% or 2.25 points to trade at 26.70 in late trade. Atlanta (CS:ATL) declined 3.25% or 2.30 points to end at 68.50 and Snep (CS:SNP) shed 2.09% or 13.50 points to 631.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 6 and 4 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.59% or 1.09 to $67.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.82% or 1.35 to hit $72.86 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 2.50 to trade at $1221.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.04% to 11.0420, while USD/MAD rose 0.05% to 9.4481.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 94.36.
