Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Transport, Software & Computer Services and Holding Companies sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC), which rose 7.50% or 10.20 points to trade at 146.20 at the close. Lydec (CS:LYD) added 6.00% or 37.00 points to end at 654.10 and Taslif (CS:TSF1) was up 5.87% or 1.35 points to 24.36 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Involys (CS:INV), which lost 9.24% or 14.50 points to trade at 142.40 in late trade. Timar (CS:TIM) declined 7.36% or 18.85 points to end at 237.10 and Realis. Mecaniques (CS:SRM) shed 5.70% or 18.80 points to 311.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 29 to 18 and 6 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.40% or 0.20 to $49.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.11% or 0.06 to hit $55.41 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 2.50 to trade at $1326.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.12% to 11.1660, while USD/MAD fell 0.18% to 9.3410.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 91.89.
