Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Utilities, Holding Companies and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were BMCI (CS:BMCI), which rose 9.99% or 76 points to trade at 841 at the close. Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI) added 5.97% or 9.50 points to end at 168.50 and Risma (CS:RIS) was up 5.07% or 7.25 points to 150.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Stroc Industrie (CS:STR), which lost 4.73% or 2.55 points to trade at 51.40 in late trade. Alliances (CS:ADI) declined 3.80% or 10 points to end at 253 and Lydec (CS:LYD) shed 3.69% or 24.00 points to 626.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 22 to 20 and 3 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.27% or 0.14 to $51.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.07% or 0.04 to hit $56.65 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 5.09 to trade at $1288.71 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.10% to 11.1330, while USD/MAD fell 0.18% to 9.3980.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 92.90.
