Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate, Holding Companies and Invest Companies & Other Finance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares gained 0.54%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Residences Dar Saada SA (CS:RDS), which rose 7.57% or 7.95 points to trade at 112.95 at the close. Salafin (CS:SLF) added 7.14% or 70 points to end at 1050 and Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM) was up 5.68% or 8.60 points to 160.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS:NKL), which lost 9.97% or 3.64 points to trade at 32.86 in late trade. Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR) declined 8.89% or 8.00 points to end at 82.00 and Taslif (CS:TSF1) shed 5.05% or 1.33 points to 25.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 20 to 14 and 12 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.39% or 1.68 to $68.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.81% or 1.44 to hit $78.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.50 to trade at $1208.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.16% to 10.9660, while USD/MAD fell 0.28% to 9.3895.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 94.58.
