Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Transport, Construction & Building Materials and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Dari Couspate SA (CS:DRI), which rose 5.99% or 202 points to trade at 3572 at the close. Unimer (CS:UMR) added 5.98% or 10.05 points to end at 178.05 and CTM (CS:CTM) was up 5.06% or 40.00 points to 830.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Alliances (CS:ADI), which lost 7.15% or 16 points to trade at 204 in late trade. Sonasid (CS:SOND) declined 4.37% or 32 points to end at 701 and SMI (CS:SMI) shed 2.94% or 91 points to 3000.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 25 to 15 and 9 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.65% or 0.39 to $60.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.83% or 0.55 to hit $66.71 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.69% or 9.00 to trade at $1306.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.29% to 11.2360, while USD/MAD fell 0.46% to 9.3395.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 91.84.
