Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Holding Companies, Banking and Beverage sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS:NKL), which rose 6.71% or 2.35 points to trade at 37.35 at the close. Oulmes (CS:OULM) added 5.95% or 76 points to end at 1353 and Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI) was up 4.86% or 6.95 points to 149.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Involys (CS:INV), which lost 2.97% or 3.50 points to trade at 114.50 in late trade. Lesieur Cristal (CS:LESU) declined 2.85% or 4.25 points to end at 145.00 and Total Maroc SA (CS:TMA) shed 2.70% or 27.0 points to 973.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 13 and 5 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.47% or 0.29 to $61.92 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.11% or 0.08 to hit $72.21 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 5.60 to trade at $1229.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.06% to 10.8500, while USD/MAD fell 0.31% to 9.4667.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 95.76.
