Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Software & Computer Services and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Residences Dar Saada SA (CS:RDS), which rose 6.56% or 6.40 points to trade at 103.90 at the close. Total Maroc SA (CS:TMA) added 3.60% or 40.0 points to end at 1150.0 and Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS:NKL) was up 3.32% or 1.11 points to 34.51 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR), which lost 7.95% or 7.95 points to trade at 92.00 in late trade. Stroc Industrie (CS:STR) declined 7.41% or 1.88 points to end at 23.50 and Sonasid (CS:SOND) shed 4.82% or 27 points to 533.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 13 to 13 and 9 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.76% or 0.57 to $75.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.92% or 0.78 to hit $85.58 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.36% or 4.40 to trade at $1202.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.12% to 10.9090, while USD/MAD rose 0.12% to 9.4695.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 95.40.
