Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.21% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 2.16% or 25.0 points to trade at 1180.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Cemargos (CN:CCB) added 1.57% or 160.0 points to end at 10360.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was up 1.33% or 180.0 points to 13700.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which fell 4.76% or 340.0 points to trade at 6800.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 1.16% or 0.2 points to end at 17.1 and Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) was down 1.16% or 20.0 points to 1700.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 16 to 10 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Cemargos (CN:CCB) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.57% or 160.0 to 10360.0.
US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.71% or 0.83 to $115.97 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 0.87% or 25.00 to hit $2886.50 , while the April Gold contract rose 2.13% or 25.80 to trade at $1237.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.46% to 3343.00, while BRL/COP fell 1.58% to 829.53.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 96.92.
