After more than three months of declining share prices from 4.3 cents on October 2, 2024, to 1.1 cents yesterday, Latrobe Magnesium Ltd (ASX:LMG, OTC:LTRBF) bucked the trend somewhat today with a 41.67% increase to 1.7 cents.
Highfield Resources Ltd (ASX:HFR) was another strong mover, up 20.41% to $0.295 after Yankuang Energy received a statement of no objection from the FIRB in relation to an investment in the company.
Other small cap movers today included Peninsula Energy Ltd (ASX:PEN, OTCQB:PENMF), which rose by 11.63% to $1.44 on releasing a positive update from the Lance Uranium Project in the US, Cyclone Metals Ltd (ASX:CLE) was as much as 10.21% higher to $0.054, Far East Gold Ltd (ASX:FEG) reached 18 cents, an increase of 9.09% on the previous close and Novo Resources Corp (TSX:NVO, OTCQX:NSRPF, ASX:NVO) lifted by 6.4% to $0.10.
The S&P ASX200 moved 39.10 points higher, or 0.48%, to close at 8,231.
