The pay package of UniCredit's new CEO, Andrea Orcel, does not include any remuneration aimed at compensating the former UBS banker for any loss of pay deriving from previous employment, the Italian bank said on Monday. bank has sent out the teasers for the sale of two problem loan portfolios worth 1 billion euros each, MF said. One portfolio includes unsecured bad loans and the other both unlikely to pay loans and loans already in default, the newspaper added.

The Italian utility, Macquarie Group and Spain's Iberdrola (MC:IBE) will battle it out to take over energy firm PPL's U.K. business, in what could be the country's largest deal of the year, Bloomberg said on Monday citing people familiar with the matter.

France's Aramis Group, which specialises in selling second hand cars online and is 70% owned by Stellantis, said on Monday it was exploring an initial public offering (IPO) in Paris this year following a boom in used vehicle sales and as it looks to grow across Europe. Executive Carlos Tavares told unions on Monday that French plants were competitive within the newly created automotive giant, reassuring workers on their prospects after having sworn not to cut any jobs nor close any plants.
