Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Banking, Real Estate and Biomed sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Nice Ltd (TA:NICE), which rose 4.00% or 1590 points to trade at 41370 at the close. Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) added 2.27% or 1040.0 points to end at 46940.0 and Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) was up 2.21% or 4.0 points to 185.3 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which lost 2.99% or 230 points to trade at 7450 in late trade. Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) declined 2.10% or 410 points to end at 19090 and Perrigo (TA:PRGO) shed 1.84% or 490 points to 26150.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 215 to 161 and 22 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.45% or 0.97 to $67.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.25% or 0.90 to hit $72.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1219.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.70% to 3.7162, while EUR/ILS fell 0.29% to 4.2406.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.76% at 96.19.
