Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Banking and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.49%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which rose 5.88% or 1000 points to trade at 18010 at the close. Liveperson (TA:LPSN) added 2.90% or 290 points to end at 10290 and Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) was up 1.65% or 690 points to 42600 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 8.72% or 88 points to trade at 919 in late trade. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) declined 1.55% or 1600 points to end at 101900 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) shed 1.37% or 86 points to 6170.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 202 to 156 and 47 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.23% or 0.13 to $57.07 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.44% or 0.29 to hit $66.29 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 4.50 to trade at $1316.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.27% to 3.6234, while EUR/ILS rose 0.37% to 4.1236.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 96.067.
