Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Banking, Communication and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT), which rose 3.38% or 47.0 points to trade at 1437.0 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) added 3.31% or 200 points to end at 6250 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was up 2.80% or 6.9 points to 253.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Perrigo (TASE:PRGO), which lost 3.12% or 550 points to trade at 17080 in late trade. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) declined 2.50% or 102 points to end at 3974 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) shed 2.34% or 1180 points to 49350.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 242 to 150 and 28 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.88% or 1.09 to $59.00 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $67.47 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.10 to trade at $1284.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.12% to 3.6025, while EUR/ILS rose 0.15% to 4.0389.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 97.465.
