Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Biomed sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.25%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TA:ESLT), which rose 2.66% or 1140 points to trade at 44070 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) added 2.57% or 43 points to end at 1718 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) was up 2.12% or 184 points to 8867 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL), which lost 1.63% or 2.5 points to trade at 151.2 in late trade. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) declined 1.31% or 5.4 points to end at 406.2 and Partner (TA:PTNR) shed 1.24% or 17 points to 1355.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 210 to 163 and 36 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.17% or 0.86 to $74.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.09% or 1.62 to hit $79.23 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 3.20 to trade at $1254.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.03% to 3.6562, while EUR/ILS rose 1.02% to 4.2718.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.81% at 94.23.
