Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Banking and Communication sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL), which rose 2.11% or 3.9 points to trade at 188.6 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) added 1.74% or 23 points to end at 1346 and Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) was up 1.61% or 75 points to 4740 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Liveperson (TA:LPSN), which lost 2.36% or 179 points to trade at 7410 in late trade. Elbit Systems Ltd (TA:ESLT) declined 1.35% or 610 points to end at 44650 and Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) shed 0.89% or 370 points to 41250.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 204 to 180 and 30 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 4.27% or 2.56 to $57.37 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 4.04% or 2.83 to hit $67.29 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 2.80 to trade at $1204.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.01% to 3.6930, while EUR/ILS rose 0.51% to 4.1647.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 97.04.
