Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Mining and Property sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 0.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were PT Pelayaran Tamarin Samudra Tbk (JK:TAMU), which rose 25.00% or 98 points to trade at 490 at the close. Tunas Alfin Tbk (JK:TALF) added 22.46% or 62 points to end at 338 and Kmi Wire And Cable Tbk (JK:KBLI) was up 18.53% or 86 points to 550 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ever Shine Textile Industry (JK:ESTI), which lost 27.91% or 24 points to trade at 62 in late trade. Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA) declined 22.22% or 60 points to end at 210 and Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI) shed 10.34% or 75 points to 650.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 196 to 136 and 99 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.02% or 0.01 to $48.65 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.19% or 0.10 to hit $51.75 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.88% or 10.89 to trade at $1247.29 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.18% to 13317.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.63% to 9810.90.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 97.89.
