Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Manufacturing and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.77%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Pool Advista Indonesia Tbk (JK:POOL), which rose 19.75% or 1175 points to trade at 7125 at the close. Centex Tbk Prf (JK:CNTX_p) added 12.50% or 100.00 points to end at 900.00 and Bank Sinarmas Tbk (JK:BSIM) was up 10.81% or 80 points to 820 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tigaraksa Satria Tbk (JK:TGKA), which lost 10.00% or 350 points to trade at 3150 in late trade. Bank Pundi Indonesia Tbk (JK:BEKS) declined 9.92% or 12 points to end at 109 and Sugih Energy Tbk (JK:SUGI) shed 9.91% or 21 points to 191.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 228 to 97 and 84 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.16% or 0.07 to $43.56 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $46.04 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.60% or 8.05 to trade at $1341.95 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.17% to 13124.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.25% to 10067.85.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.02% at 95.88.
