Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Agriculture, Miscellaneous Industry and Consumer Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Bumi Resources Tbk (JK:BUMI), which rose 35.00% or 28 points to trade at 108 at the close. Bank Dinar Indonesia Tbk (JK:DNAR) added 26.27% or 31.00 points to end at 149.00 and Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (JK:BRMS) was up 26.00% or 13 points to 63 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Polaris Investama Tbk (JK:PLAS), which lost 9.91% or 55 points to trade at 500 in late trade. Ancora Indonesia Resources Tbk (JK:OKAS) declined 9.88% or 8 points to end at 73 and Eka Sari Lorena Transport Tbk (JK:LRNA) shed 9.73% or 22.00 points to 204.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 194 to 99 and 92 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.47% or 0.74 to $51.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.43% or 0.74 to hit $52.42 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.68% or 8.65 to trade at $1271.55 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.14% to 13001.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.15% to 10022.25.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.21% at 97.67.
