Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Agriculture, Basic Industry and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 1.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Dharma Samudera Fishing Tbk (JK:DSFI), which rose 34.91% or 37 points to trade at 143 at the close. Kobexindo Tractors Tbk (JK:KOBX) added 34.57% or 56 points to end at 218 and Ictsi Jasa Prima Tbk (JK:KARW) was up 34.56% or 47 points to 183 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Batavia Prosperindo Finance (JK:BPFI), which lost 24.69% or 200.00 points to trade at 610.00 in late trade. Slj Global Tbk (JK:SULI) declined 12.15% or 22 points to end at 159 and Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN) shed 11.11% or 10.00 points to 80.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 250 to 109 and 115 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.58% or 0.37 to $63.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.65% or 0.44 to hit $67.86 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 4.70 to trade at $1316.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.03% to 13763.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.67% to 10585.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 89.75.
