Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Agriculture, Financials and Miscellaneous Industry sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.61% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Gunawan Dianjaya Steel Tbk (JK:GDST), which rose 34.86% or 38 points to trade at 147 at the close. Jaya Pari Steel Tbk (JK:JPRS) added 34.69% or 51 points to end at 198 and Intikeramik Alamasri Industri (JK:IKAI) was up 25.00% or 110 points to 550 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bakrieland Development Tbk (JK:ELTY), which lost 90.00% or 450 points to trade at 50 in late trade. Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (JK:BNBR) declined 34.59% or 55 points to end at 104 and Sanurhasta Mitra PT (JK:MINA) shed 23.91% or 710 points to 2260.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 231 to 155 and 104 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.54% or 0.35 to $65.08 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.58% or 0.44 to hit $75.80 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.60 to trade at $1303.00 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.33% to 13887.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.51% to 10555.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 93.31.
