Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Mining, Miscellaneous Industry and Trade sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.43% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Bumi Citra Permai Tbk (JK:BCIP), which rose 34.62% or 27 points to trade at 105 at the close. Asuransi Jasa Tania Tbk (JK:ASJT) added 24.51% or 125.00 points to end at 635.00 and Rimau Multi Putra Pratama (JK:CMPP) was up 24.48% or 175 points to 890 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Multifiling Mitra Indonesia (JK:MFMI), which lost 19.47% or 185 points to trade at 765 in late trade. Tempo Inti Media Tbk (JK:TMPO) declined 11.67% or 28 points to end at 212 and Tunas Alfin Tbk (JK:TALF) shed 9.73% or 36 points to 334.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 165 to 165 and 114 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.02% or 0.01 to $50.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.37% or 0.21 to hit $55.91 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 2.04 to trade at $1273.84 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.20% to 13530.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.27% to 10579.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 93.50.
