Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Agriculture, Mining and Trade sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Pelayaran Nelly Dwi Putri Tbk (JK:NELY), which rose 27.03% or 20 points to trade at 94 at the close. Fks Multi Agro Tbk (JK:FISH) added 25.00% or 550 points to end at 2750 and Eka Sari Lorena Transport Tbk (JK:LRNA) was up 20.61% or 34.00 points to 199.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lionmesh Prima Tbk (JK:LMSH), which lost 10.00% or 70 points to trade at 630 in late trade. Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (JK:ALKA) declined 10.00% or 30 points to end at 270 and Indo Kordsa Tbk (JK:BRAM) shed 9.97% or 875 points to 7900.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 157 to 133 and 94 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.16% or 0.08 to $50.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.08% or 0.04 to hit $51.99 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.08% or 0.95 to trade at $1254.55 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.03% to 13072.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.20% to 9938.90.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.08% at 98.00.
