Investing.com – Greece equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Household, Technology and Banking sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Attica Bank SA (AT:BOAr), which rose 6.23% or 0.002 points to trade at 0.034 at the close. Quest Holdings (AT:IQTr) added 4.50% or 0.500 points to end at 11.600 and Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr) was up 3.83% or 0.1100 points to 2.9800 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jumbo SA (AT:BABr), which lost 2.93% or 0.470 points to trade at 15.550 in late trade. Intracom Hold (AT:INRr) declined 2.88% or 0.025 points to end at 0.842 and Autohellas (AT:AUTr) shed 2.38% or 0.60 points to 25.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 60 to 52 and 16 ended unchanged on the Athens Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for April delivery was up 0.43% or 5.70 to $1326.50 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 1.19% or 0.73 to hit $60.63 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract fell 0.38% or 0.25 to trade at $64.70 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.43% to 1.2393, while EUR/GBP fell 0.12% to 0.8865.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 89.64.
