Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Technology and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 0.77% or 0.16 points to trade at 21.01 at the close. YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) added 0.59% or 0.04 points to end at 7.70 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was up 0.47% or 0.0350 points to 7.4100 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V), which lost 1.06% or 0.40 points to trade at 37.30 in late trade. Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) declined 0.70% or 0.040 points to end at 5.695 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) shed 0.52% or 0.30 points to 57.35.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 88 to 50 and 16 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for August delivery was up 0.51% or 0.27 to $52.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.66% or 0.33 to hit $50.13 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 1.97 to trade at $1266.13 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.00% to 1.1181, while EUR/GBP fell 0.33% to 0.8703.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 97.29.
