Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Telecoms and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.50%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which rose 0.88% or 0.042 points to trade at 4.835 at the close. Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) added 0.83% or 0.060 points to end at 7.320 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) was up 0.40% or 0.14 points to 35.03 in late trade.
Biggest losers included KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV), which lost 4.64% or 2.09 points to trade at 42.96 in late trade. Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) declined 1.39% or 0.38 points to end at 26.93 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) shed 1.22% or 0.44 points to 35.49.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 71 to 63 and 19 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for May delivery was down 1.13% or 0.76 to $66.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 1.39% or 0.89 to hit $63.02 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.25% or 16.70 to trade at $1316.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.67% to 1.2235, while EUR/GBP fell 0.31% to 0.8793.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 90.29.
