Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1), which rose 1.90% or 0.074 points to trade at 3.970 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 1.88% or 0.1500 points to end at 8.1200 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was up 1.01% or 0.042 points to 4.216 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which lost 3.65% or 1.81 points to trade at 47.83 in late trade. YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) declined 1.81% or 0.12 points to end at 6.53 and Valmt (HE:VALMT) shed 1.77% or 0.30 points to 16.65.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 89 to 55 and 12 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for January delivery was up 0.58% or 0.35 to $60.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.44% or 0.24 to hit $54.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 6.23 to trade at $1271.47 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.02% to 1.1652, while EUR/GBP fell 0.46% to 0.8780.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 94.44.
