Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA), which rose 3.08% or 1.06 points to trade at 35.47 at the close. Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) added 1.86% or 0.86 points to end at 47.14 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) was up 1.74% or 0.130 points to 7.605 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V), which lost 4.91% or 1.63 points to trade at 31.59 in late trade. DNA Oyj (HE:DNAO) declined 4.32% or 0.8200 points to end at 18.1500 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) shed 3.98% or 0.201 points to 4.853.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 117 to 38 and 8 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.82% or 0.65 to $79.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.76% or 0.52 to hit $69.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.40 to trade at $1230.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.52% to 1.1514, while EUR/GBP rose 0.34% to 0.8828.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 95.43.
