Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology, Utilities and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which rose 3.10% or 0.120 points to trade at 3.995 at the close. Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) added 2.13% or 0.084 points to end at 4.033 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was up 0.98% or 0.32 points to 32.81 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which lost 1.75% or 0.40 points to trade at 22.51 in late trade. Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) declined 1.70% or 0.122 points to end at 7.050 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) shed 1.26% or 0.53 points to 41.56.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 75 to 63 and 19 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for April delivery was down 1.43% or 1.00 to $69.15 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 0.94% or 0.62 to hit $65.52 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.93% or 12.60 to trade at $1339.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.53% to 1.2361, while EUR/GBP rose 0.17% to 0.8798.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.50% at 89.31.
